New Comment

Any event within Wordpress can be set as a trigger for your flow. Whenever the specified event happens, the associated flow will run automatically.

To set any Wordpress event as trigger, you first need to switch on the trigger toggle button located near the ‘Start’ icon in your flow. Then, from the list of triggers under ‘All Triggers’ on the right, drag and drop Wordpress in to the given box.

Once you do this, select any event of your choice that you wish to set as trigger from the ‘Select Trigger’ dropdown options. Let us have a look at the various Wordpress events that you can set as triggers.

New Comment: When you set ‘New Comment’ as trigger for your flow, Flow will run your flow automatically whenever a new comment is created for any posts in the specified Wordpress site. To set this as trigger, select the appropriate access token for Wordpress. Then, specify the base URL or the ID of your site in the ‘Base URL or Site ID’ field. Once you enter these details, save the trigger, and click on ‘Done’ to return to your canvas. Now, whenever a new comment is received in the specified Wordpress site, the flow will run automatically.

Once you have entered all the details, 'Save' them and click on 'Done'. This will take you back to canvas.
