Common Questions
To use UserVoice in your workflow, you will first need to connect it with Built.io Flow.
To do this, drag any UserVoice action listed under UserVoice service on the canvas. In case of configuring UserVoice triggers, click on the Settings on your canvas and select UserVoice service. Then click on Add New option listed under Authorize UserVoice field in the configuration window. Then click on Add New option listed under Authorize UserVoice field in the configuration window. You’ll get a window asking to enter the client key, secret key, and subdomain for your UserVoice account.
To generate these keys, login to your UserVoice account and click the Settings icon located at the lower left-hand side corner. Click General Settings.
The General window appears on screen. Click on the Integrations tab and then click on the UserVoice API keys option as shown in the image.
The UserVoice API key window will appear. Click on the Add API key… button to generate a new key and enter the name of the API, say Sample. Also, check the TRUSTED checkbox and then click Add API Key.
You can see that API keys are generated on UserVoice API keys window as shown in the image. Also, you refer to your UserVoice URL to enter the subdomain value.
Enter this details in the respective fields of the Add Connection window and click ADD. You can now see the added authorization under Authorize UserVoice field. Once added, this authorization will be available in all UserVoice actions and triggers.
