New Project

Toggl is time-tracking software that offers online time tracking and reporting services through their mobile and desktop app as well as their website. Any event within Toggl can be set as a trigger for your workflow. Whenever the specified event happens, the associated workflow will run automatically. 

To set any Toggl event as trigger, you first need to switch on the trigger toggle button located near the ‘Start’ icon in your workflow. Then, from the list of triggers under ‘All Triggers’ on the right, drag and drop Toggl in to the given box. 

Once you do this, select any event of your choice that you wish to set as trigger from the ‘Select Trigger’ dropdown options. Let us have a look at the various Toggl events that you can set as trigger.

New Project: If you set ‘New Project’ as trigger, Flow will run the associated workflow automatically whenever a new project is added to a particular workspace in your Toggl account. To set this as trigger, select the appropriate access token for Toggl. Then, provide a suitable name for this trigger. You also need to specify the ID of the workspace for which you wish to set this trigger. Once you enter these details, save this trigger, and click on ‘Done’ to return your workflow canvas. Now, whenever a new project is added to the specified workspace in your Toggl account.


Once you have entered all the details, 'Save' them and click on 'Done'. This will take you back to canvas.
