Send Message

What's Syniverse: Syniverse provides business solutions to mobile service providers and facilitates connectivity and interoperability with a wide range of services.   

About 'Send Message' action: This action lets you send a specified message to one or more recipient. 

Connect to Syniverse: Select the appropriate connection for Syniverse from the drop-down list. If you haven’t created a connection yet, select ‘Add New’ to create one. 

Field data

Send Via (Mandatory): Enter the source from which you wish to send a message. Available options are 'Channel' and 'Sender'. By default, the value for this field is set to 'Channel'. 

Channel ID/Sender ID (Mandatory): Select/enter the channel or sender ID from which you wish to send a message, depending on the option you have selected for 'Send Via' field. 

Send Message To: This block contains a list of recipients to whom you wish to send the message. You can add recipients by specifying their phone numbers, contact IDs or group IDs. 

   - ID (Mandatory): Enter the phone number (Preceded by country code) /ID (preceded by the word 'contact') of the recipient to whom you wish to send the message. You can also send the message to a specific group by entering the group ID (preceded by the word 'group'). 

       For example: To add a phone number, enter '+16178635473'

                              To add a contact ID, enter 'contact:ABCD123'

                              To add a group ID, enter 'group:grp1234'

      You can add multiple recipients by clicking on '+ADD' link. 

Message Body (Mandatory): Enter the message that you wish to send.

Conversation ID (Optional): Enter the ID of the conversation if you wish to reply to a specific conversation thread. 

Campaign ID (Optional): Enter the campaign ID provided by the customer.

Program ID (Optional): Enter the program ID.

Subject (Optional): Enter the subject of the message you wish to send.

Consent Requirement (Mandatory): Enter the consent requirement condition for the message to be delivered. Available options are 'NONE', 'OPT_IN', and 'OPT_OUT'. By default, the value for this field is set to 'NONE'. 

   NONE: Message will be sent irrespective of OPTIN status. 

   OPT_IN: Message will be sent only if user has explicitly selected to 'OPT_IN'.

   OPT_OUT: Message will be sent unless the user has explicitly selected to 'OPT_OUT'. 

Criteria (Optional): Enter the criteria that was used in bulk transmission. 

Source Language Code (Optional): Enter the current language of the message in the 'ISO 639-1' (two-letter code) format. For example, if you wish to specify 'English' as the current language, enter 'en'. 

Destination Language Code (Optional): Enter the language to which you wish to translate the message to be sent, in 'ISO 639-1' (two-letter code) format. For example, if you wish to translate the message to 'Spanish', enter 'es'. If this field is left blank, then only users with language preference settings will receive a translated message. 

Content Type (Optional): Enter the content type of the message you wish to send. 

Once you have entered the details, click on 'Done' and 'Run' the flow. This will send the message to specified recipients from your Syniverse account.
