Send Message

Salesforce Marketing Cloud provides digital marketing automation as well as analytics software and services. This activity lets you send a message your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account. To achieve this, add this activity to your canvas, and configure it. Select the appropriate access token for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. If you haven’t created any access token, select ‘Add New’ to create one. 

In the ‘Message ID’ field, specify the ID of the Triggered Send Definition or the customer key. Then, enter the email address of the recipient. You can also enter your (sender’s) name and email address in this activity. Provide other details of the recipient, if required, such as region, city, and state. Lastly, select the type of the request (SYNC or ASYNC). It defaults to ASYNC. 


Once you enter these details, click on ‘Done’ and run the flow. This will send the message to the specified recipient.
