Send Private Message

Salesforce Chatter provides a host of collaboration features to applications built on Force.com. Using this activity, you can send private message to multiple users. To achieve this, add this activity to your canvas, and configure it. Select the appropriate access token for Salesforce Chatter. If you haven’t created an access token, select ‘Add New’ to create one.

In the ‘Instance URL’ field, specify the instance URL of your Salesforce account. The instance URL is the first part of the URL that you see in the browser’s address bar after signing in to your Salesforce account (e.g., https://na15.salesforce.com). Enter the body text of the message in the ‘Message Text’ field. Lastly, enter the ID of the recipients who you wish to send the message in the ‘Recipient IDs’ field. Once you have entered these details, click on ‘Done’ and run the flow. This will send a private message to the specified users.
