The ‘New Record' trigger fires off the flow whenever a new record is created in your Quickbase account. To use this trigger, configure the ‘Start’ icon, and from the panel on the right-hand side, drag ‘Quickbase’ into the trigger box. Enter values in the fields as per the instructions given below:
Select Trigger (Mandatory): Select the 'New Record' trigger from the drop-down list.
User Name (Mandatory): Enter the name of the logged-in user.
Password (Mandatory): Enter the password for the specified username.
Application Token (Mandatory): Enter the application token.
Domain Name (Mandatory): Enter the domain name of your Quickbase account. If your account URL is 'https://sample.quickbase.com', enter 'sample' as the domain name.
Database ID (Mandatory): Enter the ID of the database for which you wish to set a trigger.
Trigger Name (Mandatory): Provide a suitable name for the trigger.
You can also use custom filters to add customize conditions for your trigger.
Input (Mandatory): Add the trigger data key given on the right hand side of the configuration window as an input for this field, as per your requirement.
Condition (Mandatory): Specify the condition from the drop-down list
Expected (Mandatory): Enter the expected value for the specified condition.
Once you have entered all the details, 'Save' the trigger, and click on 'Done'. This will take you back to canvas.
