Get User Roles
What's QuickBase: QuickBase is an online database software system that lets you create business applications.
About ‘Get User Roles' activity: This activity lets you retrieve the details about the roles that are assigned to the users of your QuickBase account.
Connect to QuickBase: Select the appropriate connection for QuickBase from the drop-down list. If you haven’t created a connection yet, select ‘Add New’ to create one.
Application Token (Mandatory): Enter the application token of the database under which users are created.
Database ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the name/ID of the database under which users are created. Clicking the ‘Refresh’ icon will fetch the list of all the databases of your QuickBase account—based on the connection selected—and display it in the drop-down list.
In case there are too many databases, you can search the required one by its ‘name’ or ‘ID’. Alternatively, you can manually enter the name or ID of the database under which users are created or use the output of the previous activity as an input for this field.
User ID (Optional): Enter the email ID of a specific user whose role details you wish to retrieve.
Include Groups (Optional): Set the value for this field to '1' if you wish the call to return roles assigned to groups to which the user belongs. By default, the value for this field is set to '0'.
User Data (Optional): Enter the data that you wish to return in a response.
Once you have entered all the details, click on 'Done' and 'Run' the flow. This will retrieve the details about the roles that are assigned to the users of your QuickBase account.
