Execute Query

What's QuickBase: QuickBase is an online database software system that lets you create business applications.

About ‘Execute Query' activity: This activity lets you run a query on the database to retrieve specific results. 

Connect to QuickBase: Select the appropriate connection for QuickBase from the drop-down list. If you haven’t created a connection yet, select ‘Add New’ to create one.

Field data

Application Token (Mandatory): Enter the application token of the database under which the table is available on which you wish to run a query.

Table ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the name/ID of the table on which you wish to execute a query. Clicking the ‘Refresh’ icon will fetch the list of all the tables of the specified database and display it in the drop-down list. 

In case there are too many tables, you can search the required one by its ‘name’ or ‘ID’. Alternatively, you can manually enter the name or ID of the table on which you wish to execute a query or use the output of the previous activity as an input for this field.

Query (Mandatory): Enter the query you wish to run on the database. Each of the query string must be separated by a period (.). 

User Data (Optional): Enter the data you wish to return in response.


Once you have entered all the details, click on 'Done' and 'Run' the flow. This will run a query on the specified table.
