Common Questions

To use Nexmo SMS in your workflow, you will first need to connect Nexmo SMS to Built.io Flow Enterprise. 

To do this, drag any Nexmo SMS action listed under Nexmo SMS service on the canvas and click on ‘Add New’ option listed under ‘Connect to Nexmo SMS’ field in the configuration window. A connection configuration window will appear, as shown below:

Enter values for the fields specified below:

Connection Label (optional): Provide a new name for the connection.

API Key: Enter the API key of your Nexmo account. To retrieve the API key, login to your Nexmo account and navigate to the 'Getting Started' tab.

API Secret: Enter the API secret key of your Nexmo account. To retrieve the API Secret key, login to your Nexmo account, navigate to 'Gettings Started' tab, and click on the 'Show Password' (or eye icon).

Once you have entered these details, click on 'ADD' button. You will be redirected to the canvas. 

You can now see the added connection under ‘Connect to Nexmo SMS’ field. Once added, this connection will be available in all Nexmo SMS actions and triggers.

In order to create a Nexmo SMS connection, you would need to provide your Nexmo API key and API Secret key to Built.io Flow Enterprise. Follow the steps given below to retrieve these keys:

Step 1: Login to your Nexmo account

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Getting Started' tab given on the dashboard.

Here, the value of the 'key' field is the 'API Key'.

Step 3: Next, click on the 'Show Password' (or eye) icon to see the 'API Secret Key'.
