Create Issue

JIRA, a product by Atlassian, offers bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management functions.  This action allows you to create a new issue in your JIRA account. To achieve this, add this action to your canvas, and configure it. Select the appropriate connection for JIRA. If you haven’t created any connections, select ‘Add new’ to create one. 

In the ‘Key’ field, enter the key of the project under which you wish to create the issue. Then, enter a short summary (mandatory) and a description (optional) of the issue. Lastly, select the type of the issue you wish to create. Available types are Bug, Epic, Story, Sub-task, and Task. If the selected type is ‘Sub-task’, enter the ID of the parent task in the field that appears. Once you enter these details, click on ‘Done’ and run the workflow. This will create a new issue in the specified project.
