Update Session

What's EventMobi: EventMobi lets you create mobile apps to organize and manage events and conferences.

About ‘Update Session' action: This action lets you update an existing session of the specified event. 

Connect to EventMobi: Select the appropriate connection for EventMobi from the drop-down list. If you haven’t created a connection yet, select ‘Add New’ to create one.

Event Shortcode (Mandatory): Enter the shortcode of the event under which the session you wish to update is created.  

To retrieve the event shortcode, first click on 'Event Apps' tab. You will see the list of all events of your EventMobi account. Locate the event for which you wish to create an attendee and click on the 'Edit' link given beside it. From the 'Event Info' panel that appears, locate the 'Event App URL' field given under 'Basic Details' section. If the Event App URL is 'eventmobi.com/sample', enter '/sample' as your event shortcode. 

Session ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the session ID

Session Topic (Mandatory): Enter the topic of the session.

Description (Mandatory): Enter the description for the session.

Date (Mandatory): Select the date on which the session is scheduled to start.

Start Date and Time (Mandatory): Select the time at which the session is scheduled to start. For example,'2015-01-12T14:52:41.682Z'

End Date and Time (Mandatory): Select the time at which the session is scheduled to end. For example,'2015-01-12T14:52:41.682Z'.

Time zone (Mandatory): Select the time zone for the session from the drop down list. 

Location (Optional): Enter the location of the session.

External ID (Optional): Provide a unique external ID that will be used to reference the session. 

Speaker IDs: This block contains the IDs of the speakers of the event.

   Speaker ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the ID of the speaker of the event. 

   You can add multiple speakers IDs by clicking on the 'ADD' link. 

Track IDs (Optional): This block contains the IDs of the track associated with the event.

    Track ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the track ID that you wish to associate with the event.

    You can add multiple track IDs by clicking on 'ADD' link.

Attendee Email IDs (Optional): This block contains the email IDs of the contacts attending the event. 

    Attendee Email ID (Mandatory): Select/specify the email ID of the attendee.

    You can add email IDs of multiple attendees by clicking on 'ADD' link. 

Additional Parameters (Optional): This block contains the details of the additional parameters that you wish to add to the existing form. 

   Name (Mandatory): Enter the parameter name for which you wish to add a value.

   Value (Mandatory): Enter the value for the parameter specified in the 'Name' field. 

   You can add multiple parameters by clicking on 'ADD' link.

Once you have entered the details, click on 'Done' and 'Run' the workflow. This will update the specified session of your EventMobi account.
