Built.io Contentstack is a content management system offered by Built.io. Any event within Built.io Contentstack can be set as a trigger for your flow. Now whenever the specified event happens, the associated flow will run automatically.
To set any Built.io Contentstack event as trigger, you first need to switch on the trigger toggle button located near the ‘Start’ icon in your flow. Then, from the list of triggers under ‘All Triggers’ on the right, drag and drop Built.io Contentstack in to the given box.
Once you are done with this, select any event of your choice that you wish to set as trigger from the ‘Select Trigger’ dropdown options. Let us have a look at the various Built.io Contentstack events that you can set as triggers.
Publish Entry: Within Built.io Contentstack, you can create forms, under which you can create several entries, and publish them. If you set ‘Publish Entry’ as a trigger, the associated flow would be triggered whenever a new entry is published from a particular form. To set ‘Publish Entry’ as trigger, you first need to enter your Built.io Contentstack’s access token and site API key. This will help Built.io Flow establish a connection with your Built.io Contentstack account.
Under ‘Form UID’, click on ‘+ Item’ to add the UID of a form. The flow would run automatically only when you publish an entry form this particular form. You can add multiple form UIDs here. However, if no UID is provided, the event would apply to all forms. Once you have entered all the details, click on ‘Save’ and then ‘Done’.
Once you have entered all the details, 'Save' them and click on 'Done'. This will take you back to canvas.
