Post Scheduled

Buffer offers a simpler way to share images, videos, status updates, and links on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and several other apps/services. Any event within Buffer can be set as a trigger for your workflow. Whenever the specified event happens, the associated workflow will run automatically. 

To set any Buffer event as trigger, you first need to switch on the trigger toggle button located near the ‘Start’ icon in your workflow. Then, from the list of triggers under ‘All Triggers’ on the right, drag and drop Buffer in to the given box. 

Once you do this, select any event of your choice that you wish to set as trigger from the ‘Select Trigger’ dropdown options. Let us have a look at the various Buffer events that you can set as trigger.

Post Scheduled: This trigger instructs Flow to run a particular workflow automatically whenever you schedule a post in your Buffer account. To set this as trigger, select the appropriate access token for Buffer. Provide a relevant name for this trigger. In the ‘Profile ID’ field, specify the ID of your profile. Then, save this trigger, and click on ‘Done’ to return your workflow canvas. Now, whenever you schedule a new post in your Buffer account, the workflow will run automatically. 


Once you have entered all the details, 'Save' them and click on 'Done'. This will take you back to canvas.
