How to use workflow templates from Library

Built.io Flow Library contains several pre-configured workflow templates that are either added by the Built.io Flow admin or shared by Built.io Flow users. You can use these templates by importing them to your account. In this guide, we will understand how to use the workflow templates from library with the help of an example. 

Let's say you wish to use the 'Send current temperature of a city every morning to Cisco Webex Teams room' workflow template that is available in the library. To do so, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Log in

Log in to your Built.io Flow account and click on the 'Library' tab given beside 'My Workflows' tab. You will see a list of services of which workflow templates are available in the Library.

Click on the 'Cisco Webex Teams' service icon to see all the templates associated with it. 

Search for the 'Send current temperature of a city every morning to Cisco Webex Teams room' workflow card in the list of workflow cards that appear and click on it. You will be redirected to a screen where you can see the details of the workflow along with the workflow configuration template.

Step 2: Add to My Workflows

Here, you will be prompted to enter all the credentials and information related to the Parameters, Triggers, and Authorizations necessary to run the selected workflow as shown below:

State: Enter the name of the state in which the city located

City: Enter the name of the city of which temperature you want to retrieve daily

Once you have entered these details, click on 'Next'. The trigger configuration modal will open up.

Trigger Label: Provide a suitable name for the trigger. 

Trigger Type: Since you need to fire off the trigger every day the value for this field is set to 'Repeat From' by default. 

Date: Select the date from which you wish to start the executing the trigger.

Time: Select the time at which you wish to run the trigger.

Timezone: Select the timezone.

Runs on every: Select the frequency at which you want the trigger to be executed.

Once you have entered these details, click on 'Next'. The action configuration modal will open up.

Weather Underground Connection: Select the Weather Underground connection from the drop-down list. If you have not created an authorization yet, click on 'Add new' to create one. Click on 'Next'. The action configuration modal will open up.

Authorize Cisco Webex Teams: Select the Cisco Webex Teams authorization from the drop-down list. If you have not created an authorization yet, click on 'Add new' to create one.

After this, click on 'Import this workflow'. This will add this workflow in your 'Default' project.
