How to retrieve 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret' of your Jive account
To add an authorization for Jive in your Built.io Flow account, you need to provide the 'Client ID' and the 'Client Secret' of your Jive account. To do this, you will need to first install an add-on for Built.io Flow in your Jive account. Once this is added, you can retrieve the 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret' of your Jive account. Let’s look at the steps involved in doing this:
Step 1. Login
Login to your Jive account and click on the 'Profile Settings' tab. Select 'Add-Ons' from the drop-down list that appears. It is important to note that this option will be available to you only if you are logged in as an administrator of that particular community.
You will be redirected to the new window where you can see the list of installed add-ons.
Step 2. Install add-on
Click on the 'Upload Package' button given on the right-hand side of the page.
Next, click the 'Choose File' button to upload the add-on file for Built.io Flow. Once the add-on package is uploaded, click 'Continue'.
With this, the add-on for Built.io Flow will be installed in your Jive account.
Step 3. Retrieve the OAuth details
Go to 'Profile Settings > Add-Ons'. You will find 'Built.io Flow' in the list of installed add-ons.
To retrieve the 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret', click on the 'Settings' icon given beside 'Built.io Flow' add-on and click on 'View Client ID and Secret' option.
You will see a new dialogue box where you can find the 'Client ID' as well as the 'Client Secret'.
